Sponsor love 3.0

Here it is! Post #2 featuring some of my incredible sponsors (you can check out post #1 here). These ladies are so supportive and inspiring!

I asked them seven questions about blogging, beauty, relaxing and life. Read on my friends!

Bekuh: I don't want to sound narcissistic but I really like my eyes. I can pinpoint a bazillion things wrong with my body, like every other female, but I've always thought I lucked out in the eyeball department, haha.
Christi Lynn: I am a very loyal person. I don't go behind backs and I am always there for people. I just find it really important!
Sierra: My sense of humor. It can be too dry and sarcastic at times, which has caused more than one person to have a less-than-ideal opinion of me after our first meeting, but once they realize I am just joking we become great pals. One of my favorite Kurt Vonnegut quotes is, "Laughter and tears are both responses to frustration and exhaustion. I myself prefer to laugh, since there is less cleaning up to do afterward." When times get tough, this is my philosophy and if I can't make myself then I will find something-or someone-else that will (it's almost always Arrested Development or my boyfriend).
Sabrina: My favorite thing about myself would probably be my personality. I love that I grew out of my shy stage.
Kelli: I love my sense of humour (am I allowed to admit that I laugh at my own jokes?). I find that it comes in handy in every situation to be able to laugh and make people laugh. I also appreciate the same quality in others--even though they probably do it better than I do.
Mandy: I have to say that my favorite thing about myself is that I don't let others discourage me. Many people have opinions about me, especially because I'm in high school. They think I dress weird or tell rumors about me or judge me because I don't go to parties, but that's just who I am. I don't take part in teenage drama. I'm really not a teenager at all, and I enjoy that. Over the years, I have learned to accept myself. I've had the same issues that every other girl has had, but I truly like who I have become.
Krystal: My eyes. This has been the constant thing that I've received compliments on my entire life. It amazes me when someone comments on my eyes now that I am much older.
Annabel: That's a hard questions. I think I'm a pretty good cook, and I love to eat so its a win win!

Bekuh: My beauty tip is never leave the house without mascara and lip gloss/chapstick. I think I probably picked this tip up in TEEN magazine or something but it has definitely stuck with me through the years. I always feel more put together with those two items on my face.
Christi Lynn: When it comes to eye shadow, dark colors on the outside and light colors on the inside and then blend. It makes your eyes look bigger.
Sierra: I'm quite the minimalist when it comes to beauty, however, the one thing that I invest in is my skin. I won't pay more than $5 for my lipstick, mascara or nail polish, but when it comes to my cleanser, face lotion and foundation, you better believe it's Philosophy, Clinique and Sephora all the way. If you take care of your skin then everything else will look better, too.
Sabrina: I love mascara! I used to be afraid of it and NEVER wanted to use it. Thankfully I got over it and its my must-ware. Even if I don't wear eyeliner I will always have on mascara. My trick? I'd say that probably using contact solution to make my mascara last longer. It always gets crusty when there's so much left and the solution takes care of that.
Kelli: Erm, I haven't been one for makeup until recently but suddenly I am all it! Primer! I am all about primer, it makes my makeup look 100% better and last so much longer. I'm definitely an advocate for primer.
Mandy: My Mabelline smudge pot eyeliner. On days that I don't feel like going all out on my makeup, I can quickly create winged eyelids for a vintage look.
Krystal: Earrings. I always feel more confident if I have a pretty pair of dangle earrings.
Annabel: I've just started taking more care of my skin actually, and I think moisturising is always important! There's no point splashing out on expensive make-up when your skin is in need of attention! Even if your skin is oily (like mine) there's a moisturiser out there for you that's going to work wonders. Ask at a beauty counter for some advice and samples if you're not sure : )

Bekuh: Defining your personal style is so hard to do, because style is so personal. I would definitely say I have an eclectic style influenced by my travels abroad and years of obsessing over vintage fashion. Vintage, feminine, and layered I suppose.
Christi Lynn: Comfy cute! I like to feel comfortable in my clothes, but I can't pass up a cute top!
Sierra: Tomboy chic. I grew up wearing oversized t-shirts and cut-offs (yes, even under skirts and dresses. I needed to be able to climb a tree or ride a bike at a moment's notice!) and it's those casual outfits that I am still most comfortable in today. I rarely wear heels and while I have been wearing more skirts and dresses lately, jeans will always be my number once choice.
Sabrina: Oh my goodness. I used to be a huge tomboy. Don't get me wrong, I don't always dress up but I love wearing dresses. Its so much easier to grab a dress and go. I would say I'm pretty laid back in the style department, though. I've still got some major room to grow, that's probably why most of my favorite blogs are fashion blogs. They always have cheap ways to make my wardrobe awesome.
Kelli: I didn't own a pair of trousers until a bout 3 months ago. I've always been about dresses and skirts; for this reason I've always been called "cute". It maybe helps that I still look about 17 (even though I'm 23). So I'd say I'm a bit cutesy and very colourful! I like to wear my personality; I own star wars clothing and vintage 80s movie tees. I like customising my clothing a lot.
Mandy: Obviously I love vintage, but each day I dress a little differently. Overall I would describe my style as a cross between a 60s paper doll, a laid back Bohemian, and a stylish grandma. My closet is filled with many retro/mod dresses, as well as free flowing hippie attire. I'm not going to lie to you, I have searched through old ladies' closets to find some of my clothing.
Krystal: Well, I'm a preschool teacher, so I love that the kids appreciate my mismatched clothing and never mind if I wear a band t-shirt with a skirt. I like to wear what I feel pretty and confident in, regardless of how it looks together.
Annabel: Cat-tastic! I have an abundance of cat printed jumpers (sweaters to you Americans)/tees/shirts even a dress! But when I'm not sporting my feline style, skinny jeans are my go-to style. I'm not one for dressing fancy. I hand-on-heart don't own a single pair of heels!

Bekuh: I want to be a full-time creative entrepreneur. I'm not entirely sure what that will look like yet, but it will definitely involve vintage, teaching, and art.
Christi Lynn: A mommy with a graphic design business on the side. Oh how I would love that.
Sierra: Well, I graduated with my bachelor's degree almost two years ago, so I supposed that technically I am already grown up. Currently, I work as a copy editor for a sports website, which I absolutely love! Growing up I asked my mom if I could just get paid to read and that is essentially what I do as an editor.
Sabrina: I want to be a photographer. My dream was always to be a touring photographer and go on tour with bands. I'd still love to do that, but I want to eventually settle down and have a family.
Kelli: I want to eventually start a charity for the counselling of rape survivors. I am currently doing my MA in the history of sexuality and its something that I am incredibly passionate about. Until I have the credentials and the time to devote to something so huge, I want to write around the same subject, and raise awareness any way that I can for such atrocities, in a light-hearted way that makes people want to learn about it.
Mandy: I have always felt a twinge of panic when asked this as a child, maybe because I changed my mind so much. My answer has gone from a veterinarian to a volleyball player to a forensic anthropologist. I know now that I want to be in the media and fashion industry. I don't know exactly what yet, but I will break into the field somehow. My aunt has always told me to become the editor of Vogue, but that may be a little far fetched. I want a career where I can utilize my creativity and style, so what's better than the fashion world?
Krystal: An amazing, wise, patient preschool teacher and a loving mother (someday).
Annabel: Well I'm currently studying for my degree in Fine Art, so maybe a mega rich artist? I think that would be just peachy! But if the world doesn't get my art, I'd love to work in teaching or magazines maybe : )

Bekuh: I started my blog as a personal art journal of sorts; I blogged a lot of pictures I found around the internet of things that inspired me. I started adding my own photos and went more in depth with my writing as I found that it was a great way for my friends and family to keep up with me, even if we didn't get the chance to talk regularly. Now I enjoy having readers from all different backgrounds and enjoy connecting with people from around the world.
Christi Lynn: Because I can! I just love getting to write about my life and experiences.
Sierra: Blogging began as a personal reminder to slow down and enjoy the beautiful moments in my everyday life. However, it is already turning into more that I ever imagined. Running a blog is the perfect creative outlet because it combines design and fashion, but it is also such a fun community to be a part of. I have "met" so many wonderful ladies who inspire me on a daily basis, both on a personal level with their life goals and struggles as well as a superficial level with their amazing outfit stylings and beauty tips.
Sabrina: I started my blog to let my family and friends catch up on me while I grew up and chased my dreams. Its a place where I can share all my ideas and things that inspire me.
Kelli: I guess blogging is another way to raise awareness for what I do. I primarily talk about my studies and how I deal with such a heavy subject, day in and day out. Someone's gotta do it, eh? I blog to talk to people and to belong to some form of community. Its a great way of meeting people, post-university for me!
Mandy: Up until a few years ago, I had very little self-confidence. I was the awkward, tall girl with family issues in grade school, and I honestly just never felt like I was worth it. I didn't think tha tmy opinion mattered to anyone. As years passed, I gained more and more self-esteem, until finally I became happy with myself. After almost a year of reading other blogs, I thought "why not start one of my own", and what a great decision that was. My blog is a place of my own. There aren't any rules or people telling you what to do. It is my emotional and creative outlet. Besides being my own little getaway, I love being inspired by the other wonderful bloggers of the world. I've never seen this much creativity anywhere else. And of course, the fact that blogging allows you to connect with people all over the world is another one of the amazing advantages! Ahh I could go on about how much I love my fellow bloggers all day, but I have a couple more questions to answer.
Krystal: To tell and record the story of my life and to meet amazing people who have similar interests.
Annabel: Because I love the vast community and want to be a part of that. There's no other outlet like blogging really, sharing what I love and what I've been up to all at once! : )

Bekuh: Comment on blogs your admire, and seek out new blogs regularly. Connecting with others in the blogging community is a great way to make new friends and connections that will lead to a more interesting life for you and more traffic for your blog.
Christi Lynn: Be friendly. I love when I comment on someone else's blog and they email me back a response. Let's me know they actually read my comment and they appreciated it. And no one likes it when you leave a comment on their blog saying "follow me back?" I follow the blogs I truly love, I don't follow or want to be followed just for the number.
Sierra: The most rewarding thing you can do as a new blogger is network. As I mentioned earlier, the blogging community is full of so many creative, insightful and lovely ladies and if you support them, they will support you. Plus, you just might make a few pen pals along the way!
Sabrina: I know its said a lot, but don't worry about the numbers and do not start blogging to get "famous". Your readers will see right through that.
Kelli: I would again stress the importance of partaking in the blogging community. I have met some amazingly, fantastic women through blogging and writing.
Mandy: Do not be worried about how many followers you have. Utilize social media websites to put your name out there, but don't beg for followers. Blog because you want to blog. Post what you want to post. It may take awhile to gain readership, but if your blog reflects you as a person, then others will be drawn to it.
Krystal: Blog. This is something that I'm working on. If you're a blogger, you need to blog. Just get it out there! Give people something to read/see!
Annabel: Don't be afraid to approach other bloggers! How else will people find you and see what you have to offer? : )

Bekuh: When I want to relax I sit on my front porch with a magazine, book, or my computer and just enjoy the fresh air for a little while. If I'm feeling extra fancy I might paint my toe nails or drink fresh lemonade too.
Christi Lynn: A nice warm bath! Oh I wish I was taking one right now!!
Sierra: Beer + popcorn + 30 Rock. If you can find a snuggle buddy to add to the mix then that combo is pretty much perfection.
Sabrina: I like sitting at home watching tv with my beau. It rarely happens, but its a nice way to relax.
Kelli: I watch films, I read, I draw and I sew. I eat out, I attend the cinema, I make cakes, I play guitar and I play with my kitty.. I mostly do anything that isn't as emotionally crippling as my work.
Mandy: After school, I love to put on my pajamas, listen to music and catch up on blogging. I'm actually doing this right now. However, on weekends, I find trips to the city to be relaxing. Maybe I'm a little strange for finding the hustle and bustle of a city to be relaxing, but its such a wonderful escape from school work and small town life.
Krystal: Coffee shop with my fiance. Perfect morning, mid day or evening.
Annabel: Read other blogs of course!
