Things you might not have known about me

//I was named (Melanie, for those of you who didn't know) from my mom and dad's favorite character from 'Gone With The Wind'. I have a truly Southern name! Melanie Anne Lea (in your face).
//I was one of the first test tube babies in Mississippi. I even have the petri dish that I was conceived in. (I know. Weird.)
//I'm an egg donor.
//My blog is named after my Granny. She was one of my best friends and I can't help but think of her when I make chicken salad sandwiches.
//When I was little I told everyone that I wanted to be an artist when I grew up. I think that's what I'm still planning on : ) In between then and now, though? Radiologist, sports medicine, counselor/therapist, chiropractor, German translator and boutique owner--just to name a few.
//I've legitimately pierced these things on mine or other peoples' bodies: nose, ears, eyebrow and belly buttons.
//Chore that I hate to do? Dishes.
//The one I love (seriously L.O.V.E.)? Vacuuming. You better believe it.
//A few years ago I semi-started a business making just rompers and jumpsuits.
//I'm a huge nerd! I'm the student that sits in the front of the class and asks lots of questions in the middle of lecture. I love learning.
//I'm the only of my siblings who hasn't been married and doesn't have a kid. And I don't feel like I'm missing out--ha!
//I haven't gotten a new tattoo in almost two years. This makes me very sad.
//Sometimes when I have a headache I'll eat meat and it goes away.

Oh! And cool update: tonight I updated my about, buttons and design package pages! You should check out some of the designs I've done if you're interested in me creating an awesome design for your blog.....25% off all packages for new clients until the end of August!!

And so now you know that much more useless information! Who else out there has some weird attributes? Don't leave me alone in the dark over here! : )

Omg, this was so interesting! We have a few things in common. For instance, I'm a big time nerd in school. I'm always in the first seats closest to the professor, my hand stays raised sometimes, asking questions and always taking notes. I can feel myself becoming annoying to the other students and where in high school I would have felt guilty and loser-ish, now I don't care. I'm older, I'm taking this more seriously and I LOVE to learn. Teachers pet, sure, why not. haha
I also love vacuuming and HATE dishes! Windexing mirrors or windows is also a fave..anything that I can see the before and after of cleanliness boggles my mind. lol I can't explain it. It's weird.
Holy crap, the petri dish?! That's insanely awesome!
I haven't gotten a tattoo in over a year - makes me feel strange too, but I just went with a girlfriend to get her first tattoo last night and I'm fiending an ink injection like bad again.
I really enjoyed all these Melanie facts. Please do these more often! :) It's fun to read.

A quick Roni fact: I hate walking around a house barefoot. I wear house shoes at all times. I can't stand the feeling of dirt under my feet. *This does not include carpeted houses; I can totally walk barefoot on carpet just fine.*
P.s. I finally posted my first giveaway deets! Feel free to enter if you want! :))

These are some of the most entertaining facts I've read about someone else. I'm not sure there are any chores I actually enjoy - but I can definitely agree when it comes to dishes!

I was thinking of a tattoo too. But how do you know if you would still love it a year later? That's the only reason I don;t have a tattoo yet. Ok you may say that you make something you really like and has a meaning for you and stuff, but I still don't know...

something weird about me.....hmm. when i was little, like 5, i would trash my room just so i could clean it. and not just my room. my aunts closet. my grandmas cabinets. I LOVE TO ORGANIZE!!!!

I LOVE learning things about others...And I love your name :) We definitely share the same chore likes/dislikes. I despise dishes, but I vacuum at least once a week. And I think it's great you have the petri dish you were conceived in - not many people can say they have THAT!

You're an egg donor!? Cool! I'd be interested in doing that. I'd love to hear more about it and how it went!!
I work for a radiologist. Well like 15 of them. If you become one, be nice! ;) I hate dishes too. And also love vacuuming. Except my vacuum is a P.O.S. so right now I don't. LOL
Nerd! ;)
