Yesterday was such a good day! Me and Matthew planned to have a day completely to ourselves because basically, that never ever happens. I let myself sleep in (that happens even less round these parts) then we made breakfast together. French toast and cajun bacon [those of you that follow me on instagram already knew that though--@melanieannelea]!
The rest of our day included a coffee date, some outfit photos, a snazzy new haircut (Matthew's got an interview tomorrow--YAY), grocery shopping and a lot more time in the kitchen (I'm designating Sundays as my day to prep meals for the entire week).
I definitely needed a day of relaxing. Now I've got a blog design to install and some sponsor love posts to prep. FUN! What did you do this weekend??

Sounds like a good day - Sundays are good days for getting things done around the house hehe, I know lots of people (myself and my roomate included!) that make Sunday 'cleaning' days.

Can you believe I had to google how to make french toast the other day?? Can you tell I don't cook? Like, at all. I only know how to bake cupcakes and cakes...and cookies. That's all I'm good for in the kitchen. Okay, well I'm too hard on myself. I know how to make cajun chicken in a mushroom sauce and yellow saffron rice! It's pretty yummy if I say so myself. :)
